Georgia & South Carolina Fishing License Guide

Clarks Hill Lake borders Georgia and South Carolina, and the two states honor each other's fishing licenses on the lake. If you have a valid Georgia or South Carolina fishing license, you can fish the whole lake, on either side of the state line. You only need one.

Buy from whichever state is easier for you. The agreement covers Clarks Hill Lake itself, not other waters in the other state.

Buy Your License

Purchase a Georgia fishing license or purchase a South Carolina fishing license through the official state sites.

Ask Captain James if you have any questions before your trip.
